AsuccessfulYachtManagerwithHillRobinsonUSAwillhavedemonstratedexperienceandknowledge
of the yachting industry. This position involves working to ensure
resources are in place for the smooth and safe operation of our
fleet vessels. Areas of responsibility include safety
andcomplianceadministration, technical and emergency support, crew
management, financialadministrationand shoreside support. The Yacht
Manager is thecentral pointof contact for all vessel operations
andis responsible forregular reporting to the owner.
Thisroleisdiverseandtaskstoachievecanvarydailyandonanasneededbasis.
YachtAdministration: Pointofcontactforcaptains ;
effectivelyandefficientlycommunicatewithcaptainsandcrew.
Monitormonthlybudgetsandcommunicate/anticipateoverages,purchasingandspending
thresholds; approve invoices, advice on monthly funding requests.
Coordinateandreviewinsurance,VSAT(andothercommunications,)vendorandotherservice
contracts and T&Cs. Producemonthlyandyearlyownerreports.
FacilitategoodflowofcommunicationbetweenyachtandotherdepartmentsatHillRobinson.
Workingcloselywiththeir Client Serviceteam,theYachtManager
isresponsiblefortheoperationof their assigned yachts. Compile
Clientfocussedreports providing economic analysis of each vessel at
the same time
exploringareasforimprovementsthatcouldleadtopotentialcostsavingsandimprovedefficiencies
across the fleet.
Ensurecommonworkingpracticesandreportingformatsareadheredtoanddeadlinesaremaintainedand
met. SafetyAdministrationandTechnicalSupport:
MaintainrobustcomplianceprocessesintheUS,ensuringadherencetonationalandinternational
maritime regulations.
YachtcomplianceworkingdirectlywithapplicableFlagstates,ClasssocietiesandPortStateControl.
ExecutionofcomplianceauditsandinspectionsforUSfleetyachts.
ReviewmonthlyISMmeetingsandfollowthroughtocloseopenissues. You will
also have involvement and drive Shore Support, Crew Management and
Finance and budget control. Degreeeducated:
Collegedegreeorotherrelateddegreepreferred ;
orequivalentexperience.
ISMAuditorsCourseand/orothermaritimetraininganadvantage.
Skillsandknowledge: 2Yearsindustryspecificexperiencerequired.
