Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare is currently seeking a compassionate and
skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide in-home therapy
services to our patients. This position entails helping patients
recover and improve their daily living and working skills at their
own pace and comfort, contributing directly to the achievement of
their highest possible levels of functioning. This role offers a
valuable opportunity to develop specialized skills in home health
care, a critical segment of the healthcare industry. Assess patient
health conditions and needs through observation, medical history,
and interviews. Plan and implement therapeutic activities suited to
individual patient needs. Educate patients' family members about
the therapy and how to assist patients with exercises. Prepare
patients and their families for what to expect in recovery periods.
Regularly monitor patient progress and adapt interventions as
necessary. Document patient care and outcomes to ensure continuity
of therapy and service quality. Proficiency in standard
occupational therapy techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills to
build strong relationships with patients and their families. Strong
organizational and time management skills. Ability to work
autonomously in a home setting. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must have a current state
Occupational Therapist license. NBCOT certification preferred.
