We're in search of a Senior Legal Assistant/Paralegal with an
interest for criminal law to join a team pledged to give the
highest quality legal aid to our South Florida community. We are in
need of somebody with the expertise and maturity to collaborate
with the Leadership Team on strategies, regulations,
problem-solving, and decision-making. If you have worked as a

Responsibilities:
--- Work closely with the Leadership Team and attorneys to handle
all aspects of case management efficiently.
--- Possess in-depth knowledge of assigned cases, identifying and
understanding legal issues effectively.
--- Exercise sound judgment in performing duties and solving
problems with precision.
--- Demonstrate technical proficiency in carrying out job
responsibilities accurately.
--- Draft documents with clarity and completeness, ensuring
accuracy.
--- Meet deadlines promptly and be willing to contribute extra time
when necessary.
--- Efficiently manage the calendars of attorneys and maintain
proactive communication with in-house and overseas staff.
Qualifications:
--- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the legal field is
required
--- Must have a genuine passion for criminal defense and assisting
others in need
--- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are a
must
--- Strong work ethic and a sense of pride in delivering
high-quality work
--- Ability to work effectively within a team environment,
showcasing a collaborative mindset
--- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate
effectively with leadership
--- Self-motivated, reliable, resourceful, and detail-oriented
--- Capable of handling sensitive situations with professionalism,
confidentiality, and courtesy
--- Possess a compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
--- Adaptability and willingness to learn and adhere to established
processes and procedures
