Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: Prospecting calls -
Spend time authentically connecting with customers Be able to make
a sales pitch to potential customers Negotiate honestly and fairly
to influence customers to work with Direct Traffic Solutions Always
be proactive in your communication Oversee daily shipments, make
sure they pick-up and deliver as per written agreements Proactively
work to resolve issues for customers (creates increased customer
loyalty over time) Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with
rapidly changing priorities Job Requirements: College degree
preferred, high school diploma with two years proven freight
brokerage or sales experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office
Suite, the Internet and ability to quickly learn new IT systems and
platforms a must Strong telephone and written communication skills
Assertive, passionate, and dedicated to succeed Ability to work
independently while supporting an overall team mentality Ability to
work in a blended role of Operations and Sales within an office
environment Manage complex customer situations promptly and
professionally Ability to multi-task Must read, write, and speak
English fluently. Bi-lingual a plus. Positive and enthusiastic
attitude with a strong desire for career advancement (New College
Graduates obtaining a degree in Business, Supply Chain,
Transportation, Logistics, Marketing, Sales or other
